What is ACT?
ACT stands for American College Testing. It is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States and Canada. The test measures a student's knowledge and skills in four core areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. An optional Writing section evaluates a student's ability to write effectively.The ACT is administered by ACT Inc., a non-profit organization. It is available in both paper-based and computer-based formats. This test is primarily for high school students planning to attend college and is designed to assess their readiness for college-level coursework.

The ACT is a timed test. Managing time across all sections is crucial to complete the test. There is no guessing penalty, so students should attempt every question. Leaving a question blank does not earn credit.
