The GMAT Focus Edition features three core sections. The Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) and Integrated Reasoning sections from the previous editions have been replaced or merged into the new Data Insights section.
Assesses data interpretation, logic, and algebraic problem-solving skills with no geometry questions.
Evaluates grammar usage, reading comprehension, and logical analysis with no sentence correction.
Covers table analysis, multi-source reasoning, graphics, and two-part analysis with a strong focus on data interpretation.
The GMAT Focus Edition uses a scaled score for each of the three sections and a total score ranging from 205 to 805. There is no longer a separate AWA score.
GMAC does not enforce strict eligibility guidelines, but most business schools expect candidates to hold a bachelor's degree. There are no official age restrictions, but test-takers must be at least 18 years old. Those between 13–17 need parental consent.
Work experience is not mandatory for taking the GMAT but may be required for admission into some MBA programs.

A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is typically expected, but GMAC does not mandate any minimum qualification to take the GMAT.
You can take the GMAT up to 5 times in a 12-month period and up to 8 times in a lifetime, with a minimum gap of 16 days between each attempt.
Note: Although GMAC has minimal restrictions, each business school may have its own criteria for GMAT scores and academic qualifications. It's best to verify with your target institutions.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
